1. The budget rooms may be small, but they are so cleverly designed that they never feel cramped, and the renovation of the hotel has retained the wonderful character of the original architecture---including the wonderful deep plunge tubs available in the shared bathrooms.

10. The shared bath single might feel a bit cramped if you plan to spend much time in the hotel -- in that case, go for the shared queen -- but I`m in town to experience the city, not the hotel, and just need a clean, quiet place to sleep and shower.
