1. Staff was pleasant and was able to check us in quite early with no hassle.

Taxis to and from SFO Airport cost approximately $42 plus a tip and takes 20 - 30 minutes (traffic dependant), you can always take the Bart from the airport and then a street car or bus to your hotel, but for a party of four we decided the taxi cost was very good and saved the hassle of dragging bags around.
