1. The downside was the dated room decor which is dark brown and very heavy.

2. The only downside is that there wasn't a breakfast included in the price, and Parking at $45 a day was a bit steep (apparently average for San Francisco), but we got a great price on the room and overall we were happy.

8. downside is they only have one concierge on duty at a time, so the wait to get any information about tours or maps can take forever, and if the younger of the two is on duty, i wouldn`t even bother asking him restaurant recommendations or suggested tours or routes.
