7. San Francisco clearly has a big homeless problem, more than we noticed in other cities, with many sad & broken down drunk or drug addled people begging and sleeping on the streets.

8. I had a medical problem that would keep us from our reservations so I phoned in July to cancel our reservation and was informed that the cancellation policy is the full price of the room for both nights, over $500.
