5. In room fridge was missing, used spot for our storage instead, ice machines only on 1 level, in room coffee maker was tiny and ho hum, room was relatively expensive with all extras at high additional costs, Just a general lack of festive touches other than tree in lobby.

6. I used the cell card in my lap-top to avoid this fee (so this is not sour grapes on being ripped off for wi-fi), but I thought it summed up the hotelier's real lack of concern for the needs and comfort of the guests.

10. The only disappointing thing was that the bar was being renovated so there were a few tables in the area above the main lobby and it lacked any atmosphere but I'm sure this will be resolved when the building works (which didn't interrupt our stay in any way) are complete.
"Ideally placed on the Magnificent Mile " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/31/2011 Vote
