1. My room was across the street from the firehall and although I did hear the sirens twice during the night, they did not disturb my sleep nor in our two night stay did we need ear plugs.

8. The breakfast was better than I've had on some other US trips (there was actually hot food and not just doughnuts) but the use of disposable crockery and cuttlery was very disturbing - way too much waste and using a plastic knife is never satisfactory.
