1. It also gets a lot of hallway noise because it's located right by the breakfast area and cleaning closet, as well as some noise from people walking around upstairs.

2. Ask for a room at the back overlooking the garden if you are a light sleeper as there is some traffic noise (mainly ambulance and police sirens) in the front rooms.

5. Our room was on the ground floor so we did get a bit of street noise (nothing unexpected) but there was an electronic sleep aid which we turned on and hummed away to drown out any noise so it was never a problem.

7. We were floor 4 and I was awakened most nights by the street noise - granted I was tired from walking the city all day so it didn't take me long to fall back to sleep but I'm just noting there is street noise.

9. Our experience of this hotel was limited to the time spent there and was largely fine, although the room we stayed in was a bit smaller than expected and we did experience a small amount of road noise - par for the course in NYC though.

10. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable and suprisingly quiet (a white noise machine is provided in case of need).
