1. Excellent breakfast in a sunny dining area (March is just a little too cold to sit outside in the charming little garden courtyard)The lack of a elevator is a bit of a challenge but the view down to a blossom-filled 14th Street while catching one's breath somewhat compensated .

2. Before I went, I was a little worried about the lack of an elevator.

3. Breakfast is very good too with fresh fruits and while this town house may seem a little cramped at times, it makes up for lack of space by being charming and well looked after.
"Home away from home " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/27/2010 Vote
4. Don't let this discourage you though, the rooms are well appointed and the charm of each makes up for the lack of an elevator.

6. One minor complaint was a lack of breakfast one morning but this is easily forgiven considering the selection every other day.
"Lovely Hotel in the Heart of The City " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/9/2008 Vote
7. It was not an *exclusively* gay male clientele, so why the apparent lack of women employees?Definitely book a stay if you want a decent value at a great location, a seamless NYC stay.
"Excellent location, good value, neutral service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2008 Vote
8. There were some lacks -- no hooks, towel racks, or phone books.

9. Our dream had been to end the trip in style with a luxury stay in a trendy NY boutique hotel, but lack of funds and the mistake of arriving the day after Thanksgiving somewhat put paid to that.
"A little rough round the edges but charming with it " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/26/2007 Vote
10. The location is fabulous, at the intersection of Chelsea, the Village, and the Meatpacking DIstrict there is no lack of things to do, and the subway is a half block away for wider excursions.
"Fabulous digs for little dough " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/17/2006 Vote
