1. Only downside - service in Bar and Restuarant a bit slow and off (for a place that gets everyting else right hard to believe - do they do it on purpose)After staying at Mercer I am a downtown convert.

2. Rooms are large (we had a Mercer room), bright, airy (and not noisy with the window open - Mercer St is hardly busy by NY standards) with white walls and high ceilings.
