After our long afternoon flight from London I got held up at customs due to an
issue
with my ESTA so we didn't arrive at the hotel until 8pm and having been awake 21hours we were ready to crash out.

If the construction noise and
issue
s had not occurred I would rank the hotel as a nice one, but I felt we were taken advantage of by being given this room that even the desk clerk cringed at the next morning when I told him which room I was complaining about.

I stayed here last year as well in a room without an adjoining room and don't recall any noise

Other than the valet

, if you want to be close to the wharf and get a clean, comfortable room, the Tuscan Inn is the place.
