1. We ate there a couple of other times and it was fine, but this one time just stuck in my mind because it was so awful -- and when we complained, the waiter basically just brushed it off, and I didn't feel like pursuing it.

2. After complaining about the room we were moved the next day to a lovely room backing onto the courtyard - would have thought our request could have been accommodated earlier since we were returning guests and had just been at the hotel, particularly as we then had the inconvenience of the renos.

3. If the construction noise and issues had not occurred I would rank the hotel as a nice one, but I felt we were taken advantage of by being given this room that even the desk clerk cringed at the next morning when I told him which room I was complaining about.

9. I complained the following morning as we had an 11 hour flight the following day and they immediately moved us to an inward facing courtyard room - bigger and much quieter - wish we had compained earlier.
"Good location, great restaurant attached " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/13/2011 Vote
10. Easy to get to --- For anyone who complains about the noise from the street? This hotel is no worse than any other hotel would be in Fisherman's Wharf (or for that matter - most hotels anywhere in the city) -- because guess what? You are in a city.
"Very nice hotel in a great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/17/2010 Vote
