1. Highlights on foot: central park, times square, MoMA, Lincoln Centre, 5th Avenue, Top of the rock (at night) & Grand Central Station.

2. While we were in NY we went for dinner at Planet Hollywood, Hard rock Cafe, Bubba Gumps and Stardust Diner, plus some other not so well known restaurants,diners, bars and deli's.

4. We stayed for three days and managed to (first day) visit: Top of The rocks, Radio City, Times Square, Madame Tussauds, Central Park, Horse & Carriage Ride, Empire State Building, Sky Ride, (second day) Central Park Zoo, 5th Avenue (Extra discounts in stores with pass and free gifts), American Museuam of Natural History, Harbour Cruise (Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, etc), (third day) Ground Zero, Bowling, Police Museum, Memorial Museum, Grand Central Station.

6. Close to Times Square (7 blocks) and is also close to rock and Hells Kitchen and Today Show as a discounted room it was ok but I would not pay their published rates.

10. i and my wife went to nyc in jan 09 and after having to change airline everything went superb due to a snow storm we had to change our 10 40 am flight with delta to jfk to a more earlier flight 7 10 am to newark with continental we arrived at newark and there was a blizzard going on and it was minus 8 but the cold didnt bother us as the excitment of being in new york city just blew us away got taxi to hotel whitch took about 50 minutes and should have cost 65 dollars but a couple shared with us and it only cost us 35 dollars after splitting the cost got to hotel much earlier than expected and checked in our bags the staff were very helpful more so caitlan on the desk she was very nice went straight out to take in some sites and to have a bite to eat we were blown away by the hustle and bustle of 7th avenue and times square whitch is only a five minute walk away from the wellington central park only 3 minutes away so we were in great spot for site seeing i recomend you buy a loop ticket to see all the sites great value for your money we bought a 2 day pass for 120 dollars that was for 2 tickets and it was well worth it free ferry ride as well that trip is superb ellis island staton island statue of liberty and a fantastic hudson river veiw of manhattan the trip lasts a good 80 minutesand is well worth it the loop bus stops at all major sites so you just get off see what you want and then wait at the bus stop for the next bus every 10 minutes they arrive and then on to your next stop the tour guides are very welcoming but they always go on about being tipped the bus goes via not in this order china town soho little italy greenich village chrysler building maddison square garden carniegie hall 2 minutes from wellington hotel the port authority bloomingdales maceys in little italy battery park central park ground zero an amazing site so vast its not real century 21 just by ground zero well worth a look just like primark but with a million more choices and visit the hard rock cafe on broadway fantastic and there is much more as far as the tour on the loop is concerned we took in a show on broadway at the august wilson theatre we saw the jersey boys and it was fantastic well worth the dollars dont be affraid to get off the bus and take a walk you wont get lost you cant miss the loop tour sellers all around in their red coats oh ye and the empire state building is also in the tour on the loop you get a free pass to go up to the top anyway the whole trip was fantastic hotel sites show would we go again is saddam a nut ? next time ide love to go for a lot longer oh ye and for a good snack of mammoth portions the dheli facing the side entrance of the wellington try it its great and the staff are nuts but very very nice to recap wellington hotel brilliant new york city manhattan and all sites brilliant cant wait to go again.
