I priced it out when I got home and was pretty shocked to see the oceanfront rooms were outrageously priced (as much as the Ritz, which is where we stayed for the first part of our stay) and I would be pretty upset if I paid that kind of money knowing I could have had much more room and service somewhere else for that kind of money.

6. He inspected the room and looked surprised and shocked that we saw a RAT but what I wanted to know is why there were TWO traps in our room?? He had a smirk on his face as I am still standing freaking out on the bed.

7. We were at the Fairmont Kea Lani for a week before staying at the Royal Lahaina for nine nights, so it was a bit of a shock to go from amazing to just average.
