8. if book an ocean-view, for maximum use of balcany ask for north side of hotel (offers both shade and view of the most ocean, whales, and beach); even with a rental car, use the convenient free trolley to visit Whaler's Village to avoid costly parking; staff is more friendly than larger hotels; nightly beachside entertainment and torch lighting are nice touch; rooms are fully adequate and clean; small refrigerator is nice; there is a very tasty deli (CJ's) with free 'hot spot' in the fairway shops only 2 blocks walk from the hotel; finally location (free Internet at the hotel is limited to 15 minutes per session), location, location.
"Price is what you pay...value is what you get! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/11/2011 Vote
9. I even ended up using the valet at one point simply to avoid the long walk to the hotel from the available parking spots (but this was only because we had a lot of stuff we were bringing up to the room after spending a day shopping in Lahaina).
