6. The maintenance/cleaning staff also evidently pays zero attention to detail: missing light bulbs, very obviously broken hair dryer, and the shower drain did not work properly.

7. My stay on Maui was broken up with 2 nights before and 2 nights after a few days on the smaller island of Lana'i so I ended up trying out both the Royal Lahaina's highrise main hotel and one of their cottages on the grounds.
