1. Our unit was clean, serviced multiple times, had one ant issue, taken care of while we were out.

3. We had none of the issues that were described in the other person's posting, however we were informed that some of the buildings were dealing with a bug problem and that after the holidays they were going to be fumigating buildings and doing upgrades.

6. The small annoyances were that in room internet did not work, the provider was called, the resort sent engineering up to check modem and cable, they said it was an issue with the internet provider.

These seems like a somewhat unusual situation where some rooms are controlled by the complex and some are rented by private owners, but the people at reception were very friendly and helpful regardless of how you rented, and the owner is local and said she would be responsive to any issues - but we didn't have anything that needed attention during our stay.
