4. We went to Waikiki for the first time on our 40th wedding anniversary and when we got in at 12am we took our rental car to the Aston Waikiki Beach hotel where we attempted to check in - but alas they had no reservation for us - checked with the Beach side and there we were so went over a block or two and checked in there - the first appearances were very disappointing , tiny room , tiny tv, worn furniture and the look of a beat down 30's or 40's style formerly grand hotel - we had a ocean view room on the 8th floor and as such had a lanai - but as with all things the place grew on us - right in the heart of Waikiki , within walking distance of the international market , ABC market right next door, Starbucks down the street and the beach across the street - although the rooms were a bit haggard they were clean ( no bugs ) and the beds were comfy - if they had wifi and a small breakfast it would have made things a bit better but the vale parking was super and we had a beautiful time exploring the paradise that is Hawaii.

5. The room was tiny, with nasty odour, a view of a tree, a tiny balcony with a broken table, and a dreadful bed and bath.

8. The walls look dirty, the elevator is old, tiny and looks filthy, if you have children please hold them up to your level so they are not breathing dust mites from the filthy carpet on the bottom portion of the wall.
"JESUS CHRIST!!!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/2/2011 Vote
9. No place to even store bags in the tiny closet or even around the bed( we ended up using the chair because the leg was broken any way.
"Don't confuse this hotel with the Aston Waikiki beach hotel!!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/21/2011 Vote
10. The room is very small, so small that a queen bed, armoire(which doubles as dresser, tv stand and mini fridge holder), and two TINY end tables with lamps take all the room in the room with no extra room to walk.
