Here's what I think is an honest assessment of the hotel:THE BAD-Rooms are small-Carpets are very dirty-Mirrors in lobby have thick coat of grime-Elevator is VERY small and delapedated-Cabinet holding TV is falling apart-Paint chipping everywhere-Door to hotel room hard to shut-Free breakfast is only from 7:30-8:30-annoying salesman stationed right outside doorTHE GOOD-Service is friendly-Location is wonderful and convenient-Clean and nice bathroom-Clean bed-Its cheapHonestly, when we first arrived, having stayed the last time at the Hilton Village, I was deeply disappointed.

3. The hotel is very down-at-the-heel and the people offering timeshares in the lobby are annoying, but it's Waikiki.

4. they had this super annoying tour guide guy working the front door harassing you each time you walked in with lines like 'hey, where are you come from?' - and he was affiliated (in some way) with the hotel.
