3. the front desk staff was pretty friendly (we did have issues with a couple of the front desk clerks who apparently didn't care for our like style) but douglas and argie were just great, going out of their way to ensure that our anniversary was both special and memorable.

5. ) At the time the hotel was having issues with water damage (there had been a record amount of rainfall right before we got there,) and so part of the lobby was having work done.

7. We contacted reception (in which we had to wait 10+ minutes for the guy to finish his smoko) to try an resolve the issue and he encouraged us to return to our room and await his call to notify us what he could do as he needed to call management.
