1. The final positive for this hotel is that it COULD be excellent - given the Art Deco charm of the building and the lobby but the maintenance of the building and rooms makes it a dump.

6. BTW, we have stayed at Ritz Carlton and Peninsula Hotels in various locales as well as super cheapo dumps - we are not travel novices.
