1. I particularly liked the bathroom: all the towels had orchid flowers tucked in the folds, and the floor of the shower was black river-rock type stuff.

2. The only other downside for me were the floors; for some reason they have unfinished (on purpose) rocks and cement as the floor inside the hotel rooms.

3. The floor was beautiful - just like the streets of Waikiki, all tiled with natural rock - but it murdered my feet from the roughness.

4. We had two TV's, two fridges, a stereo, an ipod alarm clock, a lava rock shower and a soaker tub in the bathroom, plus free internet.

5. Big, gorgous, comfortable bamboo beds, nice granite countertops, slab rock flooring, patio and balcony going all around the outside of our room, brass bamboo flaucets in the bathroom - which leads me to say that the bathroom itself was a dream.

6. The tropical pool area is small but very nice, including a whirlpool, rock water fountain, tables with chairs, lounge chairs, and cabanas.

8. I had a balcony with sunrise on one side, a large lanai with the sunset on the other side, and a to-floor window, I looked down on the inner courtyard (with pool, jacuzzi, spa building, big wooden chairs, tables & lounges, a thatched Hawaiian shelter to one side, a waterfall over lava rocks, jungle-like plantings all around), and, looking out above it, I could see the gentle incoming waves and surfers.

9. Our room had 1-light bulb in the double wall sconse, no bulb in the desk light, the door had been kicked in previously and had minor repairs (not secure), no washcloths in the bathroom, toilet rocked when sat on and in general the room, corridors and lobby walls need repair, painting and 'cleaning'.
