5. I laugh at those tourists who come to Oahu to buy unbelievable overpriced items (that you can buy on the mainland), and then hope that others ogle their expensive purchases wrapped in Gucci or Chanel shopping bags.

6. MINUS: 1) the gym is pitifully small for a hotel this large; 2) parking of your rental car is very expensive ($30/day) -- I strongly recommend using the Hale Koa parking lot 1/2 block away, which is about half that price (and much less if you have military ID).

7. All hotels near the beach are expensive, but from what I hear from others is that none have free breakfast.
