1. After a horrible experience at The Embassy Suites Perimeter Center, The Hilton Downtown ATL saved our trip.

2. The location was within walking distance to many different food places, and tourist attractions (even though the area did not feel overly safe to me, and the sidewalks were horrible in terms of physical accessibility).

7. The Hilton Atlanta is an all-around horrible deal, especially for the frustrations you'll likely experience as I doubt these super-conferences nearby are a rare occurrence.

9. In fact all of Downtown Atlanta is, but with all the homeless and scammers, why? Why invest in a horrible community? I now understand why people choose to live North of the city.
