1. unfortunately, the May Day protests were going on and I was confined to the hotel.

2. unfortunately there was a down side to the stay at this hotel and that was that the rooms could do with a little bit of a paint job and tidy up as there were some serious marks on the walls and in my friend's room there were chips taken out of the plaster.

9. When I double checked, the front desk person checked with the housekeeping staff, and unfortunately they did use regular cleaning products; but when I asked if the room could be prepared in a special way, they happily said that it could.
