1. Booked this hotel as a special deal via a travel site that advertised it as a 4-star hotel in the Georgetown/Foggy Bottom area, so I thought, we can't go wrong.

8. I wanted to make sure we stayed in a nice part of town and didn`t go wrong there, as the Melrose is about a block from Georgetown and two blocks (the other way) to the Metro.
