1. However, I found the room to be a bit worn down - the surface of the bathtub was peeling, the drains were slow, the carpet had several stains on it, and there were some other little issues around the room.

4. The last straw was when I posted a complaint about these issues on the Melrose site and asked for a response, none was forthcoming.

5. Some Hotels/Resorts can be pushy with milking you immediately for every penny they can get from you, but they were very courteous, patient, and did not make any issue out of anything I asked that i needed.

6. Nice hotel, great location, nice service, one of the rooms had an issue in the bathroom, and when they couldn't fix it quickly they offered to change the room.

7. The breakfast buffet seemed exorbitantly priced, but that's a non-issue because there are tons of places to eat just out the front door, so again, no impact on my rating.

9. The 'nicer' room had major issues including a MOLD PROBLEM in the bathroom.

10. They are not helpful in the least with this issue, and I am not very happy about that on top of putting up with the mold on the ceiling.
