1. We showed up in Spokane without a room and our only real criteria was for an affordable hotel within walking distance of the train station and where we could leave our bags after checkout until midnight.

5. Great downtown location to walk to shopping, nightlife, the park, plays, etc. The hotel could really use some upgrading - it does seem dingy and the bathrooms are REALLY outdated.

6. It really says something about a place when 200 people who paid $90 or so, leave the building, walk 3 blocks to another hotel (the Davenport) and continue with our event.
