1. My wife was relaxed on the trip due largely to my daughter's comfort and her great two experiences at the hotel spa.

However, the location of our room on the first level had great access to the pool, spa, exercise room etc. Also, the most beautiful aspect of the hotel is its circular open aired courtyard flanked by gargantuan palladian type windows which capture the scenic beauty of the ocean across the street.

6. The people at the front desk at the DOUBLETREE were nice, polite and helpful as opposed to the HILTON RESORT AND SPA IN SAN DIEGO where I was lied to and deceived about my room appointment and how the rooms were in disrepair.
