1. This is one of the most beautiful hotels in Santa Barbara - the view of the ocean and the Spanish architecture makes this a wonderful and relaxing way to spend time in Santa Barbara.

3. We couldn't see the ocean even standing on the patio!the ocean view is blocked by some huge structural beam they built on the ground that stands high enough to block the ocean view.

However, the location of our room on the first level had great access to the pool, spa, exercise room etc. Also, the most beautiful aspect of the hotel is its circular open aired courtyard flanked by gargantuan palladian type windows which capture the scenic beauty of the ocean across the street.

9. Upon arriving, we asked the front desk if they would have any upgrades available and she was able to upgrade us to a suite with fireplace, balcony and wonderful ocean view for a great price.
