5. This resort was a complete surprise in everything it offered - good restaurants, plush rooms with balconies, nice swimming pool, a staff that called me by my name, shuttle to/from the airport, great gift shop, etc. If I ever go back to Santa Barbara, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

6. The only complaint I have was the wait at the airport for the free shuttle to the hotel, the shuttle is not actually scheduled to meet you - you have to call when you land - and you may have to wait a bit.
