1. we stayed for 5 nights in nov 09 had a most welcolm reception from the girl on the desk hotel location is good for everything we needed, a short walk from the hotel is a mall which you can access without going near the main highway and there you can for 5 dollars all day ride the trolleybus to any place The men on the desk booked us tickets for the zoo and seaworld and the city tour at reduced rates and provided a free shuttle to anywhere we asked .

2. We were very pleased with the hotel's location, Fashion Valley was a brisk ten minute walk away (Abercrombie, Gap and Hollister for our teenagers, Macy's and JC Penney for us!) and the the free bus shuttle took us to the Zoo and Seaworld, we took the trolley to the Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town and Seafront and taxied it back.

3. The hotel itself is not in the best location if you don't have a car - it is quite noisy with a busy freeway next door.

7. If you are in San Diego to do some sightseeing the location is perfect - very close to Balboa Park, the Zoo, USS Midway, Coronado, Old Town, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay here again.
