1. Hotel occupancy was at best 30% yet no bargaining power for paying extra for a room facing the pool, as opposed to viewing the freeway, and extra for having a balcony.

5. The good things were fresh clean carpet, and mostly updated bathrooms (minus the shower) and the beds were ok, and being right on the freeway it wasn't too noisey.

6. The meals were OK but nothing special - we had better food in Old Town which is about 5 mins by taxi (not easy to walk as you have to cross a freeway and we didn`t see a walkway and the Concierge didn`t think there was one).

This was second stop on our tour, though a bit of surprise to find it bang on the freeway and surrounded only by other hotels though strangely no restuarants other than ones owned by the hotels themselves, no Chilli`s, TGI`s, McDonalds, Red Lobster etc.The hotel itself was fine, rooms comfy and the bar and restuarant very good though a bit expensive.

8. The freeway is an asset in my book, as you can get on it and then on to the I-5 to go North or South.
