1. There's nothing within walking distance, and if you want to leave property, you have to take a shuttle to the mall, or get a taxi (or rent a car on property).

5. The facility is HUGE -- be prepared to walk a lot from rooms to meeting halls, reception, etc. Not an issue if you're on vacation, but again as a business hotel this is not the best layout.

6. Beautiful!(a tad confusing, though) The hotel almost forces you to valet park- to get from self-parking to the entry doors is a good quarter-mile walk, uphill, and not well-lit.

Special thanks to the Hacienda Club staff Paulina Castanon, Claudia Gonzalez, Elizabeth Luviano and Elizabeth Munoz for making us feel so special and attending to all our needs from reservations, restaurant recommendations, directions, etc. We enjoyed a lovely and educational walk on the 1 mile nature trail and even spotted a beautiful doe.
