1. The Sunday brunch at the Colonial Room is fantastic.
"Great location and full of history " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/2/2012 Vote
2. Lobby impressive; bar NOT for anyone except smokers; watch for the STEP UP to the bathroom if you are in the older part of the three buildings; gift shops expensive; mostly young staff - some poorly informed about almost everything; 'historic' applies mostly to the outside and the OLD hotel lobby; rooms not much different from Holiday Inns as to decor; Sunday brunch quite a fun experience, and reasonable - IF a bus load of tourists don't descend, and push and shove at the buffet.
"Location-location-location! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/14/2010 Vote
3. We did not dine at the hotel, though the Sunday Brunch looked pretty good.
"Nice stay - great price - neat history at this hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/21/2010 Vote
4. The hotel restaurant is supposed to be nice, but I haven't tried anything other than the brunch buffets, which had some great items, but which lacked the variety found at some brunch buffets.
"Nice historic hotel with great location. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/19/2010 Vote
5. There's free coffee (good quality) until 9:00 a.m. and there's a daily brunch buffet that's a pretty good deal during the week ($9.95), but costs nearly twice as much on Sunday with mostly the same foods (except the addition of carved lamb, roast beef, and eggs Benedict).
"Nice historic hotel with great location. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/19/2010 Vote

8. The Menger's restaurant serves a terrific weekend brunch that is well worth the price, however the regular meals during the week are not up to the same standard; not to worry though, as there are lots of excellent choices for your meal nearby.
"All hat - no cattle " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/28/2010 Vote
9. Sunday brunch was absolutely fabulous - although the host was a bit of a grump.
"historic old hotel has character and charm " Read full review on Expedia   2/16/2010 Vote
10. We wake up all excited now about the wonderful brunch we have heard so much about - I purchased the leisure package that included '2 Free Breakfast Buffet's'.
