1. They do charge $18/a day for parking but their complimentary shuttle to anywhere downtown more than made up for it- we felt like we had our driver for the weekend.

6. The Avalon does have a free shuttle bus to Portland, and the staff is very accommodating and nice to their guests in regards to this transportation.

7. My only problem was that I called a shuttle which was the same price as a taxi cab because this hotel is just outside of the boundaries for the $16 shuttle to the airport.

8. I paid $36 for a shuttle to the airport, learning that it's cheaper to walk a few blocks and be picked up in a different zone to avoid the huge price-increase from $16 to $36.
