1. The rooms are large and the beds, pillows are fabulous.

2. The biggest thing the Avalon Hotel & Spa has going for it are the standard amenities that are often missing from other hotels in this price range - extremely comfortable beds, soft, luxurious pillows, fluffy robes, free wifi.

10. The room was beautifully decorated, and so peaceful, but best of all the mattress, which must have been a pillow top, was so incredibly comfortable (king size), and the sheets were wonderfully soft.
