The rooms are well furnished with good features including nice touches such as french press coffee, classical music on the radio after turn-down, free ethernet/wifi internet access, details of new restaurant specials delivered daily etcOn the downside, onsite leisure facilities are a bit thin on the ground - a pretty simple gym - but you can get access to the fitness centre in the Hilton across the road.

6. There are nice details throughout - L'Occitane products in the bathroom, a French press and ground coffee with a kettle, turn-down service with a free bottle of water and bucket of ice, and free wireless access.

Pros: really great personalized service from all staff members, fairly fast free free wifi, very nicely renovated and functional rooms (but can be small, see below), great breakfast in the restaurant, location can't be beat - central to everything in Portland, our room was very quiet (but there were many sets of earplugs supplied?).

Symphony Suite was well equipped-2 LCD tv's, large work desk, nice separate seating area, modern bathroom upgrade, pick your own mattress type as an option (think it is the same for any room) pillow top was VERY comfortable (might try temperapedic next time) , free wireless (24 hr free computer access in the business center, too)--Service was exceptional-Every need anticipated-bottled water on the night stand with new ear plugs and eye shades each night--Smiling greetings from everyone from bellman to reception to concierge--VERY central location--museums, shopping, etc-Very happy to have been at the Heathman--can't wait to go back and have a dinner in their highly reviewed restaurant next visit.
