1. There is secure public parking across the street, but they nail your budget butt even for parking after six and leaving before 8 the next morning.
"Earplugs supplied, for a reason " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
2. Parking was expensive but the valet mentioned that we could park on the street for free until 8 a.m. The food in the lounge and our waitperson were both wonderful.
"Excellent service, great food! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/7/2011 Vote
3. Great downtown location next to the live theater complex and 3 blocks from the wonderful Sat am Farmers Market, movie theater across the street-great public transportation within 1-2 blocks in any direction--and taxis waiting at the corner, and parking garage across the street.
"Return visit 1 year later and better than flawless " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
4. The room is on the top floor that faced away from the street, which made is very quiet even when the hotel was fully booked.
"Everything a Hotel Should Be " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/1/2010 Vote
5. It's a real plus (the working lobby is spare and conveniently near the street).
"The Heathman: Still first-rate " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/29/2009 Vote
6. I was in 514, middle of the floorplate, facing the street.

7. The front door is at a corner on one of downtown's busiest streets and there was usually a car or two there.
"Earplugs supplied, for a reason " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
8. The fitness facility is extremely basic lacking mats and heavier weights; for a modest $10 guests may go to the Hilton across the street.
"Great staff, drab rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/11/2012 Vote
9. I paid the same rate that I was quoted across the street BUT.
"Stop Chasing Points! Stay at the Heathman! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/3/2012 Vote
10. Sure, I could have banked 5000 points at the place across the street, but when you have an opportunity to stay in a beautiful historic hotel like the Heathman, you just have to do it.
