1. I liked the bar and happy hour food and beer prices, and they have one of the nicest restaurants in the downtown area.

8. The hotel has an excellent restaurant for fine dining, and a convivial bar with well-priced small plates (and an excellent half-price burger at happy hour and after 9 p.m.) The restaurant is pricey by Portland standards, but a good value compared with other large cities.

10. Remember to research Portland's Happy Hour as you can eat very low budget or taste gourmet dining for reasonable prices, you just have to eat a bit early.
