8. So we took a taxi to the hotel there is a local blue taxi service that only does the hotels and has a fixed rate of $15.

10. He apologized and reduced my room rate, which was decent service recovery, but it would have been a lot better if the front desk staff were trained to check people in accurately (which seems like a pretty baseline skill for someone who works at a registration desk).
