1. 10 min drive to downtown Miami and 20 min, to South Beach with good traffic that is.

2. We loved 'Bayside' for eating & drinking - probably more than South Beach at night, its not as mad - although you must go and see South Beach.

5. What we like about The Sonesta is it's relaxed and friendly atmosphere - everyone we dealt with from reception to the restaurant to the pool staff were so friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making our stay a pleasant one - very different to what you get in South Beach.

7. it's a ten minute drive to Coral Gables and a 15-20 minute drive to South Beach (an area that we really like, but that's not very convenient with two small girls).

8. well I only want to share this situation to tell how good I felt on this property and I promised her I will be back soon for vacation eventhough is not on the beach , EXCELLENT SERVICE.

9. Cocktails are great (The Sour Apple martini, The Cosmo and others): very strong, nicely balanced (unlike the ones you get in most of places in South Beach, but that's another story).
