1. Staff were pleasant and friendly with beach facilities manager being exceptionally helpful.

2. i thought that perhaps it was an oversight and quickly forgot about the incident and when I went to get my car the following morning I was impressed to see the hotel general manager personally shaking the hand of the bell staff , doormen and parking attendants and wishing them a good morning.

3. The day after it was our departure date and I was having breakfast with some business associates at their restaurant and while I was walking my guest out of the Mandarin one of the security staff approached me and said that the manager on duty would like to have a word, which obviously created an awkward moment.

4. We received help from our manager at the end of our stay but we do have regrets about staying here and question ever returning.

5. The music noise level was unacceptable and ill suited for conversation and if we had not found such an accommodating manager - we would have landed up in our room using room service.
