1. Good location in the Miracle Mile area, near Beverly Center (nice shopping mall), 3rd Street (boutique shopping and good restaurants) and lots of restaurants on La Cienega.

4. We had made reservations at Lawry's Prime rib right down the street and were able to walk to it from the hotel which made it a good choice, also I am a starwood member and was able to use my points.

5. The concierge was very helpful and friendly but the front desk should be able to provide a very small but important amenity and not suggest I go to CVS down the street.

6. Somewhat unique for LA, there were plenty of places within walking distance of the hotel that didn't require the hassle of getting and parking your car (Beverly Center, W 3rd street, restaurants).

7. They also charged $35 a day to park your car which you have not choice since street parking is by permit.

9. We used our points to stay at the SLS for 3 nights even though it is just down the street from us.

10. There is parking on the streets in the neighborhoods by the SLS you just need to be very careful and read the street signs because you will get a ticket.
