4. Would I recommend this hotel to friends - well if they could get a good rate, left their children at home and promised to pack a sense of humour then probably yes.

5. Bottom line- there is a lot of competition and you can buy more class and comfort for the same rate several other places.

7. I just don't want to walk into a nightclub after leaving the nightclub, and I have my strong doubts that I would receive the SLS suite again at the room rate offered, and if I had to pay a similar amount to what I would pay for a suite at the four seasons, I would surely be disappointed.

9. Regardless, the hotel rooms and public areas are very chic and ooze an upscale feeling, and the service was generally on par with, or above what I expect at the rates paid, and I was very happy.

10. The other clerk was dealing with what I thought to be an overly-demanding-but-not-deserving guest who swore that she found a rate online for a particular suite, but nothing in SLS system said that was even remotely true.
