1. The staff were, without exception, very kind, offered discounts for internet and valet parking, and responded quickly with extra towels or off-hours cleaning whenever we needed it.

3. If other hotels in the area are similar in price (Westin, Hilton, Omni, etc) book them first, however if Kyoto is your only choice or at a good discount it will do.

(Are they really going to call it the 'Doubletree by Hilton' and let it go at that?)The hotel is also within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Disney Concert Hall, the LA City Hall, Olvera Street, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Los Angeles Union Station, the discount stores of the Garment District and Toy Districts, and the Japanese American National Museum.
