1. This hotel is right accross from the baseball park and a about a 5-8 minute walk from the Shops at Downtown Houston (or something like that), which has a foodcourt and numerous other shopping stores.

5. I wouldn't normally have chosen this hotel (the decor isn't particularly appealing to me and I don't really like the downtown location) but my choices were limited as few places had reopened after the hurricane hit.

6. Hotel is relatively convenient to downtown, and has a nice restaurant (affiliated with the hotel) next door (Vic & Anthony's) where I entertained clients 3 nights.
