Had called to verify my room type after booking and then arrived to check in and was given a different room type, after a 30minute wait to check in and the front desk clerk answered a call while checking me in, I returned to the front desk to inform them of the error she proceeded to tell me there was an upgrade charge and I informed her I had called and was told I was in that room type already.

2. Yes, they did (understandably) want to charge us an extra $30 to upgrade to 2 Doubles rather than a King, but since it wasn't a big deal to us, we just kept our assigned room & the kids slept on the floor, which they love to do anyway.

3. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk saw that there were 2 adults & 2 children and gave us the double beds without batting an eye for no additional charge:)After settling in our room, we made plans for dinner but needed directions.
