2. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when we had troubles with our shower water temperature (which actually had a plumbing problem and had to switch rooms) the staff were so nice and gave us free buffet breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience of having to change rooms.

However, a "standard" room at this hotel means: 1) an extra fee for a 2nd guest (something I've never encountered before, 2)a surchanrge for wi-fi (free all over Eugene at other hotels) 3)no continental breakfast (free as above), 4)a substantial parking fee (free as above) 5)a tiny bathroom with wailing shower with intermittent water pressure (!), 6)no nightlight in the pitch-black bathroom 7)no minifridge, and last, but not least, 8)gross nose prints on the sliding glass doors onto the tiny balcony.
