1. We have in the past gotten excellent room rates through Priceline, but our last bargain turned out to be negated because of the Hilton's extra fees.

10. Despite the fact that the hotel was booked to capacity (it was graduation at the University) and the online reservations would not let me cancel one night of a four night stay and keep my original rate, when I called the front desk, all was taken care of cheerfully.
