4. A brand new Hilton Garden Inn is being finished over in Springfield and the drive from this new HGI to the Eugene downtown core (or any of the major UO venues) is less than 10 minutes.

5. While big city downtown hotels typically charge for parking, I was a bit annoyed that a Hilton in Eugene would feel the need to charge $10 when one could find street parking.

7. Pros: excellent location -- close to campus, performing arts center, and downtown; excellent jacuzzi and exercise room (precor and weights); bicycle rentals; excellent business frequent traveller complimentary breakfast on 10th floor.
